So if you've been privy to my previous blog post that provides a snazzy cocktail recipe for a red, white, & blue-inspired cocktail, that I call my "Star Spangled Spritz" (perfect for your next 4th of July BBQ!!), and ya said "Cute, but I don’t have the time nor patience for all of that haha(!!!)," then you probably prefer, and, YES, I’ll be sharing with you, a straight-to-the-point, no-fuss, and easy cocktail with a cute, fun, accent that will STILL impress your guests! I call it my "Bright Stars Sangria," and I provide the full recipe below!

"Normally, I like to chill my sangria overnight, but this time I want my fruits to really pop and slow the process of them deteriorating, so 2-4 hours should suffice for ample fruit infusion."

Now...With this drink, the star of the show (no, pun intended, but we’ll roll with it!!), in addition to the sangria are the pineapple pieces cut out and made to look like stars. Normally, I like to chill my sangria overnight, but for this, I want my fruits to really pop and slow the process of them deteriorating, so 2-4 hours should suffice for ample fruit infusion, which to me is what truly makes a sangria so freakin' delicious!

"Bright Stars Sangria" Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strawberries

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1 pineapple

  • 1 Bottle of White Sauvignon Blanc

  • 1 Bottle Prosecco

  • 1/2 Cup Blueberry-Flavored Vodka

  • 1/ Cup Lemon-Juice

  • 1/4 Cup Simple Syrup

Directions

  • Cut your pineapple into star shapes using a metal cookie cutter.

  • Combine, strawberries, blueberries, & star pineapple pieces.

  • Pour in the bottle of white wine & bottle of prosecco & vodka.

  • Add in the lemon juice & triple sec

  • Gently stir together.

  • Chill for 2-4 hours (overnight is fine if you prefer a more infused taste, but run the risk of the fruits breaking apart!)
