Celebrate Cinco De Mayo In Style With This Refreshing "Olé, Olé, Mexican Punch" Recipe!"

So guys May is upon us! And with the month of May, comes all types of festivities with Cinco De Mayo being one of the first of several! And, in effort to avoid the whole 2-hour long restaurant wait, I'm opting to bring la fiesta a mi casa (!!!) with this fun cocktail!. We're going off the beaten path from the ever-so-popular margarita drink with my "Olé, Olé" version of this very delicious, easy to make, Mexican punch!

"Olé, Olé Mexican Punch" Recipe

Disclaimer: I've edited the original version of recipe to cut down on a lot of the sugar. I, personally, prefer my drinks this way, and enjoy drinks that lean towards more of a tart taste. But of course you can adjust the ingredients to your liking!



Ingredients


Garnish

  • Lime Wedges


Fruits

  • 3 Qty Limes, Quartered

  • 2 Qty Lemons, Quartered

  • 1 Qty Orange, Quartered

  • 15 Oz Blanco Tequila

Drinks

  • 6 Oz Sprite

  • 6 Oz Lemon-Lime Seltzer Water

  • 7 Oz Lime Juice Liqueur

  • 3.5 Simple Syrup

  • 3 Oz Grenadine

  • Dashes Aromatic Bitters


Wine & Liquor

  • 15 Oz Blanco Tequila


Frozen

  • Ice cubes




  • Step 1 - In a pilon, muddle the limes, lemons, and oranges. Then add the juices along with the peels to the pitcher.

  • Step 2 - Add in the blanco tequila, simple syrup, lime juice, grenadine and bitters.

  • Step 3 - Stir well and add ice.

  • Step 4 - Finally top with Sprite & lemon-lime flavored seltzer water and stir gently.

  • Step 5 - Divide among 6 glasses and garnish each with a lime wedge.
